چکیده

In this paper, a novel and compact ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna with band-notched characteristics for body-centric communication is examined implemented. The shape of the designed looks like ‘swan’ slotted patch. performance parameters both free space on-body scenario are analyzed investigated through simulation process using Computer Simulation Technology (CST). This can avoid interference caused by Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) (5.15–5.825 GHz) Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access (WiMAX) (5.25–5.85 systems band notch because newly UWB revised small form factor sized. At first, return loss response, gain, radiation patterns, efficiency on evaluated. After that, also to place at various distances 2 mm, 4 6 8 10 mm away from 3-layers phantom body model frequencies 3.5 GHz, 5.2 5.8 GHz. All parameter results compared results. Lastly, changing patch slot length ground plane length, parametric studies were done comparison. Due its size, significant performance, proposed very suitable multi-purpose healthcare applications sports monitoring.

A Novel Small E–Ring Shaped Monopole Antenna with Dual Band-Notch Function for UWB Wireless Communications

This paper presents an E-ring shaped printed monopole antenna for UWB applications with dual notched bands performance. In order to generate single frequency band notch function, we applied a U-ring shaped monopole antenna, and by inserting a rectangular ring in the centre of it an E-ring shaped radiating patch created and a dual band-notch function can be achieved. The measured bandwidth of th...

Multi Attribute Analysis of a Novel Compact UWB Antenna with Via-fed Elements for Dual Band Notch Function (RESEARCH NOTE)

A compact microstrip-fed antenna with dual notched bands is proposed. First, a simple basic configuration is presented for Ultra Wide Band (UWB) applications and then the dual band notched structure is extended from the UWB one. The basic structure of the UWB antenna consists of a simple square radiating patch and a ground plane with a wide square slot on back of the substrate. A semi-circle sh...

Low-cost, compact UWB antenna with frequency band- notch function

Low-cost, compact, circular planar dipole UWB antennas have been designed, based on the ‘two-penny dipole’. One of the dipole arms has been integrated with the ground plane of a microstrip transmission line, the strip being connected to the other dipole arm. The use of microstrip in stead of stripline technology hardly degrades the radiation characteristics, but simplifies the antenna architect...

Printed Tapered Compact Uwb Antenna with Single Band Notch Characteristics

A simple and compact microstrip line -fed ultrawideband planar monopole antenna with single band-notch characteristics is presented. Wide impedance bandwidth is achieved by inserting two rectangular slots on both sides of the microstrip feed line on the ground plane. Band notching is achieved by embedding a half wavelength C shaped slot on the radiator. The antenna is investigated numerically a...
